Performancing Beta CPA Network Ads
Performancing is launching their new CPA network ads this week, an opportunity to monetize the empty slots for bloggers until they could attract paid partners. The only issue with this new network ads that it's a CPA (Cost Per Action), which mean that you get paid if a reader clicks through on the ad, then buys something from the destination site.

Such ads is known for its very low conversion ratio, but rather than displaying nothing at all it's always an opportunity. CPA is interesting for those running Amazon ads, I'm not sure about the products that will be displayed for sale, but it's great if revenue will be higher as payout is 70/30 split between publisher and Performancing.
This have been said, CPA remain very interesting for advertiser since money spend on campaign will convert into sales and probably more sales in the future from the same client if he find other interesting products. In addition to the great exposure they got showing their logo or products on the blogger's pages.
The new network is Opt-in, which mean that bloggers running performancing partner ads will be by default subscribed to this new network ads, you can opt-out from the system entirely by editing your blogs and say no to network ads.
If you think you can sell by yourself the empty slots, you can reduce the empty slots assigned to performancing and keep the others to sell yourself. But I find it better if you don't show empty space on your advertising section even if it's low paid or not paid at all.
